Nineteen Eighty-Four is a dystopian classic novel that has been referenced in media and politics since it was originally published. This is the first American Edition and Book of the Month Club edition. There are two chips in the dust jacket on the top of the spine, as well as smaller creases or fraying on the edges of the spine and corners of the dust jacket. A previous owner put a protective Mylar plastic on it.
