This is the second time I've read Everything, Everything, and it won't be the last. It is emotionally moving, eye-opening, and I will never be able to get enough. This book will show you a new way of looking at the world, and all its unfairness; and maybe even a new way of looking at yourself.
HPB Staff ReviewIf Madeline Whittier leaves her house she could die. She's allergic to everything but that doesn't make her a pessimist. She is happy to see the world through her glasshouse, that is until she meets Oliver, her new neighbor. For the first time, she feels that she is in a glasshouse. With Oliver, she is willing to go out and see the world ignoring the consequences.
HPB Staff ReviewAbsolutely beautiful, Nicola Yoon never ceases to amaze us. Everything, Everything is about an 18-year-old girl with a terminal illness. You get to follow her through her everyday life, cooped up in her sealed house to keep any germs from reaching her. Eventually, she accidentally meets a boy with family issues of his own, and the two connect immediately. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a heart wrenching, mind-blowing story they can finish in just a couple days.
