    I enjoyed the pace of writing however, find the relationship between Eve and Roark to be dysfunctional; he comes across as a narcissist. The sex scenes are too graphic and violent for me. The second novel in the series is an easier read, so I’ll give it a chance since I bought the first 7 books in the series.
