Fun fact about The Addams Family! The short lived and beloved Hanna-Barbera TV show was originally a single panel comic strip created in 1938 by an artist named Charles "Chaz" Addams. He modeled some of the classic characters after his own macabre interests and people in his life, including his wife who inspired the character of Morticia Addams.
Later, in 1974, this first issue in a standard comic book format was put together telling the same story found in Episode #3 of the animated show. This contains first appearances of Addams Family characters in a comic book and would be a wonderful piece to add to the collection of any Addams fan!
This copy is overall in very nice condition, but does have some creasing and chipped/torn edges as pictured. Due to the age, there is some yellowing on the white portions of the inside cover. None of these are noticable or distracting condition issues, but are worth mentioning. There are no missing pages.
