Old but gold!

My New Favorite
Ella S. - 5 years 1 month agoThis book was amazing. The story switches back and forth between three of the characters, Summer, Clover and Summer's boyfriend. This makes the story really amazing. I have read this book more than once. It is amazing. A great read.

Great story, but read with caution.
Haley C. - 5 years 1 month agoThis is definitely a book to check for trigger warnings, but for me, I absolutely loved the story! It was creepy and unsettling in so many ways. One of my favorite things about this novel was how each of the three POVs used told a completely different side of the same story. Very unique! I have already bought the rest of Preston's books, which I'm sure will be just as good. #SpringPicks

Perfectly Haunting
Nik M. - 5 years 11 months agoI really loved Natasha Preston's "The Cellar." I feel like I was on the edge of my seat while reading this, all the time. I loved the different elements she used, such as a flashback. They were very raw and emotional and really made us empathize with the characters and who they were before this terrible incident happened. I liked how the book switched to different perspectives, even giving us a glimpse into Clover's (or Collin's) mind, which simultaneously gave us more details into his mental condition and his past. I actually read this novel on a camping trip in the middle of nowhere with my flashlight on under the sheets. The book definitely made everything so much more ominous and real, considering the lonely setting I was reading it in. Fans of thriller, horror, and suspense, give it a try!

The Cellar is an excellent novel that manages to portray real-life events in an accessible teenage way.
Alex H. - 6 years agoNatasha Preston makes the reader feel as if events that were in the book were actually happening to themselves. I loved the heart-stopping emotion and the suspense that kept my heart racing. One of my new favorites and would recommend this page-turner to everyone out there.
