1920s Supernatural Romp
Evie S. - 5 years 6 months agoAn absolutely amazing historical fiction piece set in 1920s New York City centering on a group of teenagers with magical abilities as they hunt down a serial killer and investigate supernatural phenomenons. Some of the most well-developed and entertaining characters I've ever read, and the banter is hilarious! The story strengthens in the later books, and it's a perfect read no matter the season. #SpringPicks

Couldn’t put it down!
Jessie L. - 6 years 4 months agoAmazing novel! The author does an excellent job at painting the scenery for 1930’s New York. Clearly a lot of research and care went into the writing. In addiction, the book is capitivating and I really could not put it down. A great way to get back into reading if you’re a student who fell out of the habit during the school year. #SummerReading

Captivating novel!
Jessie L. - 6 years 4 months agoI absolutely loved this book! Bray is fantastic at painting a convincing scene of 1930’s New York. Clearly a lot of research went into the writing of the novel. In addition, I was consistently interested and there was never a dull moment in the story. I really could not put the book down! #SummerReading

KACIE S. - 6 years 5 months agoIn a world full of young adult novels that have characters with supernatural powers, this one definitely stands out for me. The world that Libba Bray has made is very immersive and all her characters are very engaging. Fans of Marie Lu books will probably find this series satisfying.
