I have been a fan of Christie's since reading 'And Then There Were None' in high school. However, it wasn't until I saw this book did I know she even wrote "supernatural" stories, so this was a fun little book to read. the subtitle is "Tales Of The Supernatural" but not all stories actually are. There are a few that are just mysteries like "The Mystery of the Blue Jar". Some combine her classic mystery elements and supernatural elements like "The Strange Case of Sir Arthur Carmichael" while some are wholly in the supernatural genre, like "The Dressmaker's Doll" or the title story "The Last Sance". Even her two famous characters, Poirot and Miss Marple, make appearances. While these short stories don't have the same literary strength as her fleshed novels I found all stories fun and entertaining. If you are a fan of any of her books or Victorian ghost stories I recommend this delightful collection.
