Overview

The ultimate moneymaking plan--buy the ancient, run-down Scottish castle and turn it into a tourist destination. Toni Fraser and her friends will put on reenactments combining fact and fiction, local history, murder and an imaginary laird named Bruce MacNiall.

Just as someone arrives, claiming to actually be Laird MacNiall--a tall, dark, formidable Scot somehow familiar to Toni--the bodies of young women are found, dumped and forgotten in the nearby town.

But even stranger, how is it possible this laird exists? Toni invented Bruce MacNiall for the performance...yet sinister, lifelike dreams suggest he's connected to the recent deaths. Bruce claims he wants to help catch the murderer. But even if she wants to, can Toni trust him...when her visions seem to be coming from within the very eyes of the killer himself?

Heather Graham is one of my all time favorite authors, and this series is one I cannot put down let alone stop reading. This book is one the first that I purchased from this store and I was highly impressed with the condition as well as the variety available. I loved the book itself for the writing style that Ms. Graham has, the content and the overall appearance. This book was highly appealing not just in the continuation of the series, but aesthetically it would be something that would catch my eye while browsing, and the preview offered on the back ensures that it would go into my cart. I cannot stop raving about this series and the author, I have recommended this book to everyone I know as well as browsers in the store itself when I notice them carrying a similar style book or when asked, or even if I accidentally overhear a conversation. There is nothing I dislike about the book, the author or the store; except in order to physically shop in the store I have to travel a great distance (over 8 hours), so that makes it difficult and ordering online is kind of hàrd because if you order more than one book they are all shipped separately, even if they come from the same store. I love the book and it is well worth the extra shipping costs to order more of the series if need be. Thank you Ms. Graham, and Thank you Half Price Books.
