This Cinemateca 1959 Mexican macabre comedy is very scarce in phsyical media format (out of print). The DVD case is in nearly perfection condition, with only a very subtle imprint mark on the front cover (likely from a pervious owner writing something on paper, using the DVD case as a flat surface). The disc is pristine, without any scratches or abnormalities! This DVD includes Scene Selection and Optional Subtitles as 'special features'. Directed by Rogelio A. Gonzalez, and starring Arturo De Cordova and Amparo Rivelles, 'The Skeleton of Mrs. Morales' tells the tale of a quiet taxidermist who suffers the demands of his prudish and hypochondriac spouse. When his wife disappears, he becomes a suspect of her murder. This satirical paraody of the 1950's weepy melodrama is an iconic watch!
