Where have all the bedtime stories gone? A delightful addition to the picture book canon about the love of reading.
It's bedtime in the woods of Burrow Down, and all the animals are ready for their story. But books are mysteriously disappearing. A rabbit named Eliza Brown decides to stay awake and catch the book thief. It turns out to be a little creature, the Snatchabook, who has no one to read him a bedtime story. All turns out well when the books are returned and the animals take turns reading bedtime stories to the Snatchabook, embodying a wonderful message of forgiveness for kids.

New Bedtime Favorite
Monica S. - 4 years 9 months agoBought this for my son's kindergarten book exchange (we were asked to bring a book either boys or girls could enjoy) and was pleasantly surprised and impressed. It's a great book for winding down at the end of the day with a sweet illustrations, a soothing rhyming scheme, and an endearing story about seeing things from a different perspective and being kind to others. Before gifting the used library copy I bought, I read it to my son (who likes a good cuddling book such as this), and he asked if we could get our own. Easily a new favorite bedtime book.
