My name is Chloe Saunders and my life will never be the same again.
All I wanted was to make friends, meet boys, and keep on being ordinary. I don't even know what that means anymore. It all started on the day that I saw my first ghost--and the ghost saw me.
Now there are ghosts everywhere and they won't leave me alone. To top it all off, I somehow got myself locked up in Lyle House, a "special home" for troubled teens. Yet the home isn't what it seems. Don't tell anyone, but I think there might be more to my housemates than meets the eye. The question is, whose side are they on? It's up to me to figure out the dangerous secrets behind Lyle House . . . before its skeletons come back to haunt me.

I first read this series when the first book came out when I was around 18 and I am on my third time reading the series all the way through again at the age of 30. It has chapters with ghost and other creepy crawlies that give me goosebumps. Kelley Armstrong it a very talented author and I would recommend this to anyone looking to start a new fantasy series! #SummerReading
This book was like a roller-coaster. It was constantly building at the beginning, but then you are rushed around every turn and loop. The thrill is amazing! I was afraid this book was going to be one I stopped ready, but I am so happy to have kept going. It is so different and unique. I am currently excited to read the next book in the series! I hope this review helps you pick this book up because it will be worth your time. #SummerReading
If you haven't read a supernatural romance book yet then I 100% recommend this book! This book is about how this girl starts seeing dead people and how she ended up at this place where kids goes that has supernatural powers/ is supernatural and how she finds out that this place is not what people think it is but she doesn't finds this out until her roommate is taken away. What I like about this book was that it keep my interest. What I really like about this author that wrote this book was that she doesn't go off topic, she always explain how stuff happens to these teens and why they are there. What I didn't like about this book was that there was some slow parts in it but in the end it is so worth it!!
