  • Baldacci hits the bulls eye with The Target

    Jonnie S. - 3 years ago

Will Robie and Jessica Reel, the government's most deadly assassins, are recruited for a secret mission that only the president and a few trusted aides know about. But that assignment ends before it really begins, and the two are then sent into North Korea on what could be their last mission. Will they accomplish their goal and make it out alive? You'll have to read the book to find out! David Baldacci is a top-notch mystery novelist, and The Target is one of his best. I've been a fan since Absolute Power (remember the movie that starred Clint Eastwood and Gene Hackman?). Baldacci creates memorable characters who struggle with their personal demons while making the world safe for democracy and the rest of us mere mortals. He's a great storyteller, and his books are a fast yet compelling read. If you're a fan of political thrillers, this is one you can't miss. And Baldacci doesn't miss either with The Target.
