    Our first read aloud for the summer!!! Our 3rd grader and 1st grader both were engaged and thought the book was fantastic. So fun to read an EB White book that none of us have read, and we'll always have on our bookshelf from here on out. Listening to the songs that Louis played was a fun addition! #SummerReading

    This book holds a special place in our hearts as it was my son's favorite book for most of his growing years. E.B. White is a master storyteller. You are guaranteed to fall in love with Louie. The book is marketed towards 8-12 year olds, but honestly, any age will enjoy this book. Our family loved listening to this on audiobook. If you have a road trip planned, this is a must listen to for the whole family! E.B. White narrates it and it's an audio that will stay with you for a lifetime! Don't miss this gem! #SummerReading

    I chose 5 stars because it was excellently written. I very much enjoyed the fact that Louis could write and play the trumpet. I thought that the images and vivid description took the book to a whole new level.

    I chose 5 stars because the author had lots of imagination. In the book there is a trumpeter swan named Louis that can write with a piece of chalk and play the trumpet. I like the book because Louis does lots of funny things. #SummerReading
