  • If there was a word stronger than ‘amazing’, this book would be the definition of it. #SummerReading

While reading this book I had one word in the back of mind: bewildering. It had seem to fit the definition perfectly. The suspense the book contains is staggering due to the way each character faces their own dilemma. As main character Rick wakes up from a coma, the world is awfully odd. Everything is out place and filled with blood and intestines, making the hospital look like a war ground. Boy did I feel shivers after he comes across his nurse- oh wait... she became a zombie, or A “walker” as they called them. When he comes across a group of survivors, he comes to learn that each move he makes leads to either a miracle or a disaster. As many people have changed for the worst, trust issues became the key factor in the ravaged earth live in. Therefore, zombies became a bigger problem than people. They have come realize along the way that because their hope for things to go back to normal are down the drain, they are no longer able to live, so they must instead survive. Every living day is a blessing for each character in The Walking Dead Compendium 1. A must read graphic-novel for anyone who desires a thrilling page-turner.

  • Fantastic horror series!

Must read for all fans of the tv show or the horror genre! Working my way through the whole series while staying at home.... I’m a huge fan of the show, but the comics might be even better! Like getting to relive your favorite show for the first time... although I have to say, the comics might be even more heart wrenching. Prepare to dragged a lot deeper into some very mature situations! #SummerReading
