  • Fractured Fairy Tale

    Gillian P. - 3 years 5 months ago

When the father of Alex and Connor passes away, it seems that the magic of his storytelling is also gone. Until their grandmother gifts them a book of fairy tales, like the ones they loved to share. One thing leads to another and they fall into the magic world where all fairy tales are real and sets the twins on an epic quest to return home. Along the way, they meet many classic fairy tale characters, with vivid personalities and unexpected back stories. A fun read and a great start to a fresh series.

  • The Best Book Ever

    Megan G. - 6 years 4 months ago

This is one of all time favorite books! I love the twist on the fairy tales. I love the adventure aspect of it too. I have read this book three times and each time I read it, I find a new thing that I didn't recognize before. Each time you read through the entire series and re-read it, you realize things that you didn't realize the first time. Every page has you on the edge of your seat. You won't want to put this book down! I would recommend this book to everyone!!!!!! #SummerReading

  • Who says children books can't be read by adults? This book is good for all ages! I loved it!

    Rani B. - 6 years 4 months ago

I think this book deserves a five star! It got me hooked on the first page. The father of Alex and Conner Bailey has died early in their childhood, and the twins have been devastated. However, when they find an old relic and heirloom, things start to unfold. Alex and Conner have magic in their blood, and now they can visit the fairy tale world. Only, when they get there, they find that they are trapped. They need to find a way out before they worry their mom! Lucky for them, they meet a frog, yes, a frog, who shows them a spell that can take them back home. Now they must find items to get home, with many challenges along the way. Can they do it? #SummerReading

  • The Land of Stories - My Favorite Book (and series) Of All Time!

    John C. - 6 years 5 months ago

This is my favorite book of all time! I picked it up at Half Price actually, not knowing if I would like it that much, but I bought it anyway and fell in love! This book is about twins Alex and Conner Bailey, and takes place a year after their father died. Fairy Tales have always been a big part of their life, and their father was a storyteller for sure. For their 12th birthday their paternal grandma gifts them The Land of Stories book, a fairy tale book that has been in their family for years. Right after they recieve it, it starts buzzing and doing strange things, and then next thing you now they fall inside it! They travel into they Land of Stories where fairy tales are real. Goldilocks is a theif on the run, and Red Riding Hood is a queen. They go on an epic journey through the Land of Stories to get home, and soon realize that the Land of Stories is closer to home than they think! I highly recommend this whole series to anyone!
