Over 100 years ago, L. Frank Baum wrote and published what would become one of the most popular children's stories of all time, "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz." This stunning hardcover, numbered and signed by Robert Baum, the great-grandson of L. Frank Baum, is the first title of a limited edition 15-volume facsimile set replicating the first edition printings of the series. This replica edition includes errors and misprints from the first editions that were removed in later reprints and features the original 1900 cover illustration by W. W. Densow. A paper insert from the pulisher gives deeper context into the details of this replica. There are slight bumps and creases along the edges and corners of the dust jacket. The dust jacket and yellow sprayed-edges are otherwise clean and bright.
