Lethal. Loyal. Legendary.

Thrilling and fierce, Throne of Glass is the first book in the #1 New York Times bestselling series that has captivated readers worldwide.0
The Throne of Glass series follows Celaena Sardothien--assassin, slave, and now, in a competition for her freedom and life. In a kingdom where magic has been banned, something strange is stirring in the castle of glass. I loved every bend, twist and snarky moment of Celaena. She's an anti-hero who actually accounts for her actions. This is a series you'll want to buy as a whole, because once you finish one, you won't be able to wait to pick up the next.
HPB Staff ReviewThrone of Glass really, I mean really, surprised me. I'm usually not blown away by teen fiction, but this book did just that. At first, I thought the writing was a little too easy, but again it is meant to be marketed for teens. After giving it the benefit of the doubt, I began to realize I was actually hooked. The plot was very different than what I expected--not your usual teen werewolf/vampire love story. In fact, there were no werewolves or vampires. The series seems to get better with each book while the amazing plot unfolds and the author's writing matures. Did I mention the protagonist of the story is a beautiful, tough-as-nails assassin that is feared by all the land? Follow Celaena Sardothien as she finds true love, and a power within her she never knew existed.
HPB Staff ReviewThis book is the first book in a series. What I liked about the book was the snarky comments and attitude of the main character. It's about a girl assassin who is given the chance to be free of her slave camp if she competes in a tournament to become the evil king's champion. Filled with other lovable characters and magic!
HPB Staff ReviewAll traces of magic have been erased from Adarland, but its roots might run deeper than anyone could have imagined. The story follows the exploits of a notorious assassin, Celaena Sardothien, as she fights for her freedom and the title of Champion to the King. With a tongue as sharp as her blades, Celaena is the sword-wielding answer to the typical damsel in distress. Throne of Glass is the first book in a fantastic series that is a must-read for any teen fantasy lovers.
HPB Staff ReviewThis book really shows that heroines are not always unbroken and willing to risk their lives for the sheer goodness of their hearts. This book shows that there are women who have to be heroes because they someone to be their hero. This book shows a woman who was broken and bloodied and is not in for saving the world because she's good and selfless, it's because of cruelty, torture, revenge and twisted love for heart and home.
