    Trillium takes place in two completely different worlds, which merge together in a beautiful, unexpected way. I always love a graphic novel that plays with the visual medium to reinforce or redefine the plot, turning the book sideways or upside-down halfway through, or mirroring the panel design of similar character events in completely different environments. The humanity in such an alien setting is striking. Highly recommended.
