Teresa B. - 6 years 4 months agoMrs. Pollifax is an older woman whose life seems to have lost its meaning. Is she depressed? A young doctor seems to think so and suggests she seek out a childhood dream. Well, her childhood dream was to work for the CIA. Through a series of amusing mishaps and misunderstandings she actually ends up on an assignment for the agency. Still, it's a really simple assignment. Anyone could do it. It couldn't possibly be dangerous...right? This book is fabulous and the whole series is a lot of fun. Prepare for adventure!
