    I think every teenager, every single woman, even women who have been under the control of an angry or abusive man in the past. I'm the latter and this book was so much "YES" and "That is him PERFECTLY described." I want my daughters to read this. I wish there was a class build around this book for girls in high school. This book perfectly outlines all the traits and red flags of different kinds of abusers. I was able to identify the type of abuser my father was as well as my ex-husband. I wish I had this book when I was younger. I feel like every therapist, teacher, doctor, mentor, counselor should read this book as well. #SpringPicks

    Excellent book on understanding various types of abuse in relationships, how to identify their tactics, their reasoning behind it, and what to do when you're in the midst of it. It's an easy read and a useful resource. I would consider it required reading for all genders at an early age. The best medicine is preventive. Make yourself aware of these issues before you are in an abusive relationship of your own. Or if you are in or just got out of an abusive relationship, get the validation you need when other people can't or won't see it. I wish I had known about this years ago.
